(More customer reviews)I replaced one of the old round bi-metal spring thermostats with the Honeywell RTH111B. The Honeywell works great and keeps the temperature where I set it. It has no "bells and whistles" as you'd expect for the price. Only thing I did not like is that the slide switch for Heat-Off-Cool is quite small and it's not always obvious at which position it's set.

I have been very pleased with it and according to my calculations,my electricity usage has decreased about 20 kWh/day,which in our area is about $2.20,or about $65.00/month in the swimming season.It is very quiet. I run my pump about 16 hours/day during the season and 8-10 hours/day in the off-season. Of course it will take a while to pay for itself,but so far I'm happy.

To clean it,just unplug from receptacle,remove the plastic tubing and unloosen 2 screws that hold the unit in place. The "20" in the model number stands for the head pressure,meaning it will pump "UP" to 20 feet (head pressure) However our VCM-15ULS model is great also,does about the same job,and a little bit cheaper. This model will pump up "15" feet head pressure. So either one will work on your system. Just make sure of the proper voltage 120 or 240 volts. Average price range is $35-$65. Ebay has them real cheap. This pump will last for many many years,just clean it out once a year.

(More customer reviews)Little did I know when I purchased these toe warmers for our ski trip, that my husband had bought battery powered socks already. Day 1: below zero. Tried the battery socks. Froze! Day 2: below zero. Forget the battery socks! Wore thin socks, with one toe warmer stuck under my toes, and one on top of my toes, then a heavier pair of socks over that. My feet were sweating! At lunch, I completely dried the socks on my left foot & removed the toe warmers; while keeping my right foot just as it was- wet with 2 warmers. Didn't take long for the left foot to freeze.
Long story short.... I wouldn't cold weather ski without these again! My toes are ALWAYS cold anyway. The warmers have an adhesive strip that you attach to your sock. Product is thin enough that you won't even really notice it in a ski boot. You can wear it either under or above your toes, but one warmer per foot is enough. My toes were still a little cold, but not frozen & uncomfortable. And they really do last all day.

You don't need to drain it so I don't know what the previous review was talking about. It is self - evaporating and uses it's own water cond. to cool itself. The window mount it much better then my LG's too. It's a very stylish and a small box AC that works wonderful and keeps me less stressed at night worrying about the comfort of my 18 month old at night. I have a thermostat reading in my room that tells me the temp in his room and this AC keep it exactly at what I wanted it to. Love it so far and recommend for sure!

1. Its way more powerful than my GE portable. Keeps the LR cool when the GE would not.
2. This unit, though powerful, is very poorly made.
Example:
All four wheels broke off the first season (my season is June-Aug)
The unit emits a "burnt tire" smell. finally stopped smelling in the 3rd season. Friends are no longer asking, "what's that smell?"
The digital lights went out at the start of the 2nd season, so no warranty to fix.
The directional blades fell off the machine during the second season. Can not be repaired.
The exhaust hose lasted only one season, then fell apart, even though properly stored ($29 + s/h for replacement)
To all those who see nothing but good ratings at the Compact Appl site: They refuse to post any of the real negative stuff. They fix the comment section to reflect only good reviews of 4 stars and more. Not too ethical, no?

They make plenty of hot water and save money month-to-month over the standard hot water heater because they make only the hot water that you use and don't keep re-heating a tank full of hot water. The PA-28 unit here made enough hot water for a household with six children including bath/shower water, dishwasher and washing machine. PLUS, we heated the house with the hot water through plastic pipes in the floor. Never once, while it was working, did we want for hot water.
HOWEVER, they don't last very long. Since 2001, when we had the first one installed, we've had to replace the unit twice. Now, Nov 2010, the one we have has failed and needs to be replaced again! The first two times the housing surrounding the heating elements cracked, causing leaking and water damage (not covered by Seisco). This time, the electronics board seems to have gone bad.
I'M NOT SAVING ANY MONEY ANY MORE. Since the original warranty is long gone, I'm stuck having to replace the unit every 2 to 3 years. Not good.
My experience anyway....

(More customer reviews)Amazon has this generator for the lowest price on the internet and much better than locally (once factoring in free shipping which normally costs $170 and tax free which is generally $70 or 7% in Indiana).
Shipping is awesome although it was out of stock for a while. ABF shipping is great. Item arrived intact via smaller truck after 1 week. ABF called my cell phone and arrange for convenient delivery time (signature required). Driver called day of delivery for 30 min. warning that item is coming. Driver hand-trucked 278# generator which is in original Honeywell box without any crating down a 100 foot long driveway into my garage for my wife. This is not the norm as free shipping generally means curb-side drop off and it's up to me to dolly this baby into my garage. My wife gave the driver a nice tip and I called him personally to thank him.
I ended up cutting the box to get the generator out due to heavy weight. I used a dolly padded with a thick towel to lift generator on its side to put on the wheel kit and 2 back legs with enclosed nuts/bolts (no washer needed or included due to specially designed bolts and nuts with washer flare). The tires are solid rubber so nothing to inflate or to go flat (nicely design), and are held on the shaft via washers and cotter pins. The handles fold nicely and bolted on with same type of nuts/bolts. Nuts and bolts are metric so get out you metric wrenches or sockets.
Honeywell HW7500E generator is a beauty. Red, metal fuel tank holds 6.5 gallons with fuel gage and metal gas cap. Black accents and red engine are easy on the eyes. I used Stabil fuel stabilizer from Walmart (1 oz per 2.5 gallons) to allow storage of gas in the tank so it's ready to go with less gunk build up and easier start later. Generator shipped without oil. I did not use the enclosed free 1 liter of 10W30 oil or free tiny funnel, and used instead full synthetic 10W30 oil (5 liter jug) with long neck funnel from Walmart. I recommend pouring the oil into a clean disposable plastic cup and then using this cup to pour the oil into the funnel to reduce drips, waste, and mess. It took a full quart of oil.

This switch and generator provide power to 50 gallon electric hot water heater (3000 watts), 2 fridges (1600 watts), 2 freezers (1600 watts), 6 ceiling spot lights, and 2 ceiling fans to family room. Obviously, the water heater will be switched on and off just for showers (once existing water in the tank cools) to reduce the load otherwise. The generator does have an idle control, stutters now and then when the water heater kicks on, and does not get any louder than a 20" push gas lawn mower. I can hear the generator barely in the house at night but not during the day. Generator is 10 feet from the house's brick wall, outside the garage door which is closed on top of the generator cable.
Starting is easy with plastic cheat sheet numbering 1 through 7 steps with electric start. 12v/14Ah sealed lead, tractor type battery started the generator with first push of the switch. This battery can be charged with a "smart" car battery charger if set to 2A mode for 6-8 hours. It can be replaced at Walmart or Lowes in the lawn tractor section. Stopping the generator is as easy as 1) unplug, 2) let run 3 more minutes, 3) push the button off, and 4) turn the fuel switch to off (also clearly stated, step by step, on the attached plastic poster).
Overall, this is an excellent generator for the price of $999.99 due to 1) 3 year warranty (1 year parts and labor, other 2 years parts only), 2) Honeywell brand (not the cheap Chinese junk like Powermax, Pro-Grade, Buffalo Tools, Blue Max, Chicago Tools, Eastern Tools, and numerous other aliases--best clue is the chincy 1 year warranty with them sending you the parts and you do the repair yourself or locally at any lawn mower/motor repair shop whose cost may or may not be covered by them), 3) 7500W continuous, 9375W peak watts (Chinese generators have exaggerated wattage ratings so beware), 4) included free accesories (25 foot L14-30 cable to 4 outlets which costs around $60-100 on Epay and even more locally), 1 quart of oil, cheapy funnel, 12v battery, step by step start/stop cheat sheet, toll-free help line with fast pickup by real Americans, and flat-free wheel kit.
I do wish that the fuel tank can be 10 gallons instead of 6.5 gallons, included funnel has a longer neck, easier access to fill oil, less noise is always a plus, included cable is standard 14-30 male to 14-30 female to allow easier hookup to transfer switches--it already has 4 outlets on the generator so why do we need 4 more on the generator cable?, outlet covers to keep them dry in the rain (I plugged them up with baby-proofing outlet covers at Walmart), and actual bumper to bumper 3 year warranty.
Despite these mentioned weaknesses, this generator is still a great buy at Amazon for this price.

(More customer reviews)This unit is nothing to write home about but I guess it serves its purpose. I purchased this fan for my small studio apartment. To be honest I'm slightly disappointed. If you are looking for a medium sized unit for an office or small apartment this unit does help.
That being said, don't be misled by the air cooling feature. This is not an air conditioner and will only give you slightly cooler air flow. The fan on high isn't really powerful. The two reusable ice packs are nice so that you can rotate them in. The timer control works well so that you can set it to run when you leave or go to sleep and it will continue to run for 1, 2, 4, or 8 hours. The setup and controls are very user friendly. You can get this unit up and running within 2 minutes of opening the box.
I don't think I would buy this unit again. I'd probably look for something with a higher speed fan or something that cools the air a little bit better.

This is a dishwasher heating element. The purpose of this part is to heat the water on sanitizing cycles and also to dry the dishes at the end of the wash. This item is located at the bottom of the machine and is held down with washers and a screw cap underneath. Replacing this element will also increase the heating ability because most elements over time become caked over with calcium.

Turns out my situation is not a good fit for this system's characteristics. Using it the way I hoped to I have ALOT of hot water in the cold supply when the pump is off. When the warm supply is cool to cold the Comfort Valve is Wide open (ie a gallon or so a minute flow) and puts way too much hot water in the cold water supply, for the faucet where it is installed and critically other nearby faucets, which suffer from back flow as well . So now rather than wait for the hot water supply to deliver warm water .We have to wait for the cold water supply to supply cold on nearby faucets. The product reference material from GRUNDFOS doesn't point this out, if it had I would have done something different. My Plumber and I both spoke to Grunfos tech support on this one. THUMBS DOWN to Grundfos for not identifying situations where this system is not a fit.
